The Krank (born 1988) is a Berlin-based urban artist focusing on typography and abstract expressionism.
Originally coming from Greece, The Krank lived most of his adult life in Athens, where he studied Art & Design. During his trip, he has explored painting, photography, music, video art and graffiti. In 2013, The Krank moved to Berlin and developed his primary style and aesthetics.
Deeply influenced by Asian lettering and the Abstract Expressionism art movement, The Krank hides stories and messages in his works that speaks about his worldview: “Art for me is what I see and how I feel. My story is written in a very deep visual language that reflects the impact of contemporary life in human psychology and in the wider society”.
